1. How do I register for a class?
You can register online by visiting our Calendar page; you may also register by phone 530-600-0662 . Due to limited seating for each session, we highly recommend that you register in advance. If you have a gift certificate, birthday redemption or minors (under 21), please call so we can accomodate you.
2. If I come with a group, can we sit together?
If you call us in advance, or let us know when you register, we can make sure your group sits together.
3. What is the cost?
The price for a 2+ hour painting session ranges from $25 to $40. The price includes all supplies needed for painting, including a 16 X 20 canvas, paint, brushes, easel, and apron.
4. What can I expect at Lake Tahoe Paint & Sip Studio
First and foremost, you can expect to have fun! When you arrive, you will check-in, grab an apron and a seat. Then, you should peruse the delightful variety of drinks that are available to nourish your inner artist. Get ready to RELAX, SIP, and PAINT! An artist will guide you step by step as you recreate the featured painting. A session lasts 2 hours, and you will leave the studio with your one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
5. What should I wear?
We provide aprons, and we recommend that you wear casual and comfortable paint-friendly clothes.
6. Where should I park?
Parking is free during the winter and fall. Park in the Ski Run Marina Lot. In the summertime, there is a Paid Parking Lot at the marina, Credit Cards only. The first 30 minutes are free, then $3 for each half-hour. STARTING AT 6:00PM, THE PARKING RATE IS $2.00 PER HOUR. If you will going to Riva Grill before or after the paint session, you can Valet your vehicle for no charge with Riva Grill.
7. What is Open Paint?
Open Paint is time to enjoy painting at your own pace without instruction. Lake Tahoe Paint & Sip Studio offers Open Paint Monday and Wednesday through Friday from 2-5pm. For $20, you have access to all of our supplies for as long as you choose to paint.
8. Can I have a Private Event at Lake Tahoe Paint & Sip Studio?
Yes! Private events can be scheduled for any day and anytime. Visit our Private Events page, complete the information requested, and submit your request.
9. What is your cancellation policy?
If you have purchased a seat and you are not able to make it, we will give you a credit or gift certificate. WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS. A 48-hour notice is required to have a credit issued to use at a later date. No Shows will not be issued a credit or rescheduled. Cancellations or rebooking requests must be done by Emailing: info@LakeTahoePaintSip.com
11. What type of paints do you use?
All of our paints are non-toxic, water based acrylics.
12. What types of drinks do you offer?
We offer Beringer House Wines by the glass and bottle. Whites -Chardonnay, Saugivnon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and White Zinfandel. Reds - Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Malbec and Merlot. We also have a changing variety of premium Cabernets and Chardonnays for purchase by the bottle or glass.We have 4 beers on tap as well as a variety of bottled beer and Ciders. We offer non alchoholic beverages including sparkling water and soda.
13. Can I bring my own wine?
Sure! Our corkage fee is only $10 per bottle.
14. What's your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds of any type.
15. What is your shipping policy?
After painting your masterpiece in the studio, we can Federal Express your piece to you for $30.00 per painting and $5.00 for each additional painting.
16. How about children? We love our families! Kids are welcome in the small studio. Give us a call and let us know if you are reserving for "under 21"s. We can't wait to accomodate you
